Incubus and Linkin Park team up for Honda Civic tour

The Honda Civic tour already had MuteMath on stage for the shorter-than-average summer tour, but things got kicked up a notch when Incubus and Linkin Park got to the stage.

Incubus, who has been on tour a plenty, went on right after MuteMath. Incubus announced previously that after this tour they’d take a bit for a break, so it was a little more special. These talented musicians have been touring for many years non-stop, becoming one of the music game’s most seasoned performers.

Incubus has been intact for 21 years straight, and for the first time in those 21 years they mixed up the place they were performing at, more specifically Brandon Boyd. The crowd’s boos immediately turned into applause after that minor error.

Incubus even mixed it up bit and ended their set with a very amazing rendition of “Hello” by Lionel Ritchie and also “I Need You Tonight” by INXS. Those in attendance raved over their covers of both songs.

After Incubus, Linkin Park took the stage and started their set with “A Place For My Head.” All the musicians were in great form, even Chester, as he sounded rather young even after all the wear and tear on his voice from past tours.

Linkin Park took it a level up when Chester threw in “Sabotage” by the Beastie Boys into their song “Bleed Out.” The mix of the two songs was perfect, and the crowd went crazy.

This 20 tour date was simply amazing, and there is yet to be news for one happening this year.
