Incubus and Linkin Park Tour Ranks No. 1

The Honda Civic Tour gets recognized while it is going around North America. The annual sponsored rock concert featuring Linkin Park and Incubus ranked as No.1 in the Hot Tours ranking.

This 2012, MuteMath joined the tour with Linkin Park and Incubus on the tour’s first stop at the outdoor amphiteather Jiffy Lube Live in Washington D.C. The bands performed in 16 different cities across the U.S. The shows are mainly done in outdoor sheds with 3 shows in arenas and one in a stadium.

Linkin Park and Incubus played in 270,00-seat stadium at Home Depot Center in Carson, California – home venue for two Major league Soccer teams, Los Angeles Galazy and Chivas USA. Their show at the Los Angeles-area venue housed an audience of 24,936 and grossed $1.7 million. The tour’s last stop was in San Diego.

The Honda Civic Tour had a total ticket sale of 228,427 during their 4-week tour. The grossed up to $11.2 million total for all 16 performances.

Journey’s tour came in second with more than $10.4 million for their 19 performances. The tour started during the summer and had the highest number of audience at Cheyenne frontier Days, a nine-day rodeo and western entertainment event held in Wyoming. They had up to 15,626 fans coming to the grandstand to watch their concert.

Coming for the third spot is Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez’s joint tour which had a gross of $8.4 million in the box office. The two Latin singers visited 19 cities which started in mid-July this year.
